Comprised of only one layer of of glass; single glazing can range from 6mm to 10mm of thickness.
1.2 LAMINATED GLASS
A type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. Its thickness ranges from 6mm to 16mm.
2. DOUBLE GLAZED
Double glazed, also known as insulated glass, comprise of two or more panes of glass, separated by an air (or gas) filled cavity that is completely sealed forming a transparent insulating barrier between the interior of your space and the outdoors.
3. LOW E
Low-E or low emissary, glass was created to minimise the amount of infrared and ultraviolet light that comes through your glass, without minimising the amount of light that enters your home. Low-E glass windows have a microscopically thin coating that is transparent and reflects that.
